BIOGRAPHY

Aiyanna Hernandez is a Colorado-born artist who explores themes of spirituality and mental health in her work. Often depicting her own relationship with both, Hernandez creates pieces that are at the same time minimalistic and highly detailed. Hernandez, primarily a freelance artist, works typically with color pencil, pen, graphite, marker, and micron pen. Hernandez received her AA in General Studies from Pikes Peak State College in 2019. While attending the University of Northern Colorado, she was awarded a University of Northern Colorado Provost Scholarship, a private scholarship, and the Dean’s Honor Roll in 2020 & 2021. Hernandez will receive her B.A. in Art & Design with an emphasis in Drawing and B.A. in Psychology in 2022. She currently lives and works in Colorado.
